Baba Biryani-The Best Biryani in Town?

Sundays are amazing, magical days of sleeping and eating. This particular Sunday was made even more magical with my waking up to biryani from a new place called Baba Biryani. Claiming to be made with fresh ingredients in hygienic conditions, which is still left to be determined since I haven't seen the premise where its made, it's definitely delicious, and one of the best tasting biryanis I've had outside the house. And I'm very fussy about my biryani. It has to be spicy, the rice has to be khila khila and the chicken/meat has to be tender. Baba Biryani followed through on all counts. The masala was perfect, the rice was of good quality, the meat was tender and the potatoes were soft and fluffy. There was a bit too much oil for my liking, but not so much that I was unable to eat it. I tried both the chicken and the beef biryanis. The chicken was slightly less spicy, but still pretty good. The beef biryani was my favorite. Slightly more spicier than the chicken birya

Wingitt-The House of Wings

I love chicken wings. I love them in all sizes, no discrimination. Some like them really big, some like them boneless. Me, I enjoy them all. Give them to me coated in Buffalo sauce, and I'll be one happy girl. I stumbled upon Wingitt quite by accident, when I went to pick up flowers from Just Flowers next door (A beautiful little flower shop with an amazing variety, by the way). It's a little shop, nothing to boast of, but has made the most of its space. Spotlessly clean, there is a small seating area, with cute red metal buckets serving as napkin holders and a small bottle of Dettol hand sanitizer on each table. Wingitt has a large variety of sauces to go along with the classic and boneless wings it serves, the details of which I will go into in a bit. There are also sides such as wedges, chicken strips and a variety of fries which I have yet to try. You can get 4, 8, 16 or 24 wings with a choice of 1 or 4 flavors. There are also different combos, which don't have bon

Amazing Thai's Eid Goodies

Eid comes with its blessings in different forms. I got Eidi from Amazing Thai this year, and I was so glad I did! A cute basket filled with delicious Thai goodies, and even though I enjoyed them all, a few really stood out. Let's share what was in the basket first: 1. Tom Yum Kung flavored Pretz, thin biscuits with a distinct salty, spicy and prawn flavor. 2. Then Pocky, banana and vanilla chocolate flavored thin biscuit sticks. 3. Coconut chips, which my mom and khala enjoyed more than I did, 4. An unbranded baggie of salty, sweet and sour tamarind which I shared with my mom because she really likes that stuff. I did too, but my throat would've had to pay the consequences had I eaten all of it *Shakes fist at tonsils* 5. Salty crispy peas which are absolutely delicious and I'm still munching on them. 6. A small bag of sunflower seeds which I loved sharing with my mom, khala and sister. Out of all these, my favorites where the Banana and Vanilla Pocky, thin bisc

Dragonfly Kitchen Goodies

There are very few eateries I have been loyal to over the years. One of the places which has always been consistent in its quality and quantity is Dragonfly's Kitchen. It makes my heart so happy when I see a deserving establishment grow and expand, and that's exactly what Dragonfy has been doing. Having begun stocking its sandwich variety at Agha's supermarket, Dragonfly Kitchen is beginning to get the recognition it truly deserves. For this month, promotional code is available in all DFK sandwiches, availing which will get you a lovely DFK mug! And I was lucky enough to get a mug as well. With a large variety to choose from (Hunter's Pride, Caesar's Chick, Cheesey Crunch, Egg-Stravaganza and Tuna-Rama), it's easy to buy a sandwich suitable for your flavor profile. If you don't have time to cook, you can buy the Egg-Stravaganza for breakfast, Tuna-Rama for lunch and Caesar's Chick for dinner. And with the choices available, you don't have to w
