It's never too late to write a good review, and this one is definitely a good one. For all those friends of mine who love dark chocolate, this is a treat. Eberle's Cuisine makes an amazing dark chocolate cake which I give full credit to my friend Lailumah for discovering and recommending I try. So during a hectic work week where I felt I deserved a treat, I decided to take up the offer and give this delicious-sounding dessert a taste test. Was this cake a treat? Oh, yes it was! However, if you don't love dark chocolate don't even try to like it. This is decadently rich dark chocolate cake, almost mousse like in texture and extremely smooth on the palette. It originally came with a raspberry sauce, as is shown in the picture, but is now being served with clotted cream which is the perfectly sweet stark contrast to the bitterness of the excellent quality dark chocolate. If I had a party for dark chocolate lovers, this cake would definitely be my dessert of choice.
